Trip to Harsil

On our return from Gangotri, we reached Harsil and decided to stop by there. The small Streams of the water were mixing into the river Ganga. The molten water of the ice was coming down through the big rocks. The water was cold and the flow was fast. My sister and I had fun there, we played a lot with water.

Dharali

This place is located in a small village about 3 kilometers from Harshil Hill Station. Just next to this village, the river Bhagirath rises and That what makes this place very beautiful. The flowing water of the river is heard like music. It is said about this river that this was brought by Bhagirath to the earth by doing austerities to Lord Shankar. According to Hinduism, it is considered a very sacred place. People who live here they say that Lord Shankar is worshiped as Palanhar.
